Are you currently studying for an accredited finance or accountancy qualification? Do you have a genuine interest in the public sector? Would you like to gain some experience of working in a public sector external audit environment?
If the answer is yes; then our work placement role may be what you are looking for. Joining our financial audit team you will be given full training and support to gain experience and undertake work in our Local Government and Town and Community Council audits.
To fulfil the needs of the role you will be a highly motivated individual and have experience of operating as part of a team, whilst maintaining ownership of your own aspects of work. You will need to be able to follow clear processes and have excellent communication skills.
Audit Wales is currently operating a smarter way of working, where you will be given opportunity to undertake work in our offices and through homeworking. You will be given all required IT equipment to support you in undertaking your role and a full induction on joining us.
The role will commence in June 2022 for a period of 3 months.
