You’ll join a supportive team where collaboration helps everyone succeed, and the programme provides the skills and experiences you need to make an impact and develop professionally.
We offer three different training programmes, all with a unique blend of learning opportunities.
You’ll gain valuable on-the-job skills, growing your own abilities, whilst studying for a qualification in either Accountancy or Data Science.
Alongside studying for your qualification, you’ll build strong working relationships and receive full learning and development support.
By joining our programme, you’ll be able to blend hands-on audit experience with training towards the ACA qualification and the ILM Level 3 leadership award. We’re committed to helping you build expertise and confidence with practical learning and professional support every step of the way. You’ll gain meaningful experience in both financial and performance audit, making a tangible difference to the people of Wales.
Your career as an auditor begins from day one. Alongside your professional training, you’ll work as part of our audit teams, gaining practical experience with clients – whether that’s at their offices, online from home, or from one of our own offices. We look for resourceful and resilient individuals who thrive on variety.

The Data Science programme is a 40-month programme, giving you the opportunity to support the data analytics work programme at Audit Wales while studying for a degree in data science as part of a level 6 apprenticeship.
You’ll gain valuable on-the-job skills, growing your own abilities as you help the team bring an innovative and passionate approach to data science, whilst studying for a Data Science BSc.
You don’t need experience, just an aptitude, commitment and enthusiasm. You bring your passion, and we will teach you the data science tools, techniques and skills to become a qualified data scientist.
