Webinar: Let’s talk cyber security

Webinar: Let’s talk cyber security

The aim of this interactive webinar is to equip board and non-executive members with the necessary tools and knowledge to seek assurance that their organisation has the necessary cyber security arrangements in place.

Cyber-attacks are daily occurrences around the globe. Understandably, cyber security is a term which often makes people feel nervous. Cyber security is here to stay and we need to get comfortable with what this means for our organisations. Cyber security is not just a specialist role, we all play a part in ensuring our organisations are protected against attacks.

So, what do we mean by cyber security?

Cyber security comprises technologies, processes and controls that are designed to protect systems, networks and data from cyber-attacks. When working effectively, cyber security reduces the risk of cyber-attacks as protects organisations and individuals from unauthorised exploitation of systems, networks and technologies.

What is the aim of the webinar?

This webinar is not aimed at technical specialists, this is for those who have ultimate governance and assurance responsibilities at board level to enable Public Services to stay one step ahead of cyber criminals as the attack surface expands.
