Failure to Submit Annual Accounts for Audit and Ensure Transparency
This report in the public interest has been prepared in accordance with Section 22 of the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004.
Our report has been issued to draw the public’s attention to the Clerk and the Council’s obstruction of the audit process and to inadequacies in financial management and internal control at the Council.
There are lessons to be learnt not just by this Council, but by all community councils in Wales.
