We concluded that the Authority’s accounts were properly prepared and materially accurate and issued an unqualified audit opinion on them.
This report summarises the findings from my 2022 audit work at Health Education and Improvement Wales Special Health Authority, undertaken to fulfil our responsibilities under the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004.
Our work did not identify any material weaknesses in internal controls (as relevant to my audit); however, we brought two issues to the attention of officers and the Audit and Assurance Committee for improvement.
