The author of today's report by Wales Public Services 2025 is our very own colleague Mark Jeffs. The WAO's Performance Audit Lead is on a part-time secondment with the think tank.
The report Future Pressures on Welsh Public Services [Opens in new window] was launched at a conference in Cardiff today and builds on research from the Institute for Fiscal Studies. It aims to provide a more detailed picture of the prospects for Welsh public finances, cost and demand pressures and the potential responses to those pressures. The IFS research paper Scenarios for the Welsh Government budget to 2025-26 [Opens in new window] has also been published today.
