Advert for the new Auditor General for Wales is now live

  • The Senedd is seeking candidates for appointment as the next Auditor General for Wales (AGW).

    As the current AGW, Adrian Crompton, embarks on his final year at Audit Wales, the quest begins to find a new candidate to take on the prestigious role starting next summer.

    The AGW is a unique role and is responsible for auditing around £28 billion of annual public expenditure in Wales and for leading Audit Wales.

    The Senedd is looking for an exceptional leader with experience of public audit, financial accountability, or senior organisational leadership, and with the ability to represent Audit Wales nationally and internationally.
