Making a reality of integration - less science, more craft and graft

28 August 2015
not equals not equals
  • This free shared learning seminar was held in partnership with the Welsh NHS Confederation, ADSS Cymru and WCVA, and looked at how health and social services can better integrate.

Relationships are critical to delivering the best possible services, as trust and mutual confidence pull staff and organisations together. Attendees heard how services have looked beyond organisational and professional interests and boundaries in order to deliver integrated services to improve people’s lives.
In a time of austerity we must make the most of the resources that are available. Workshops shared various approaches that show how creativity and curiosity have been harnessed and celebrated, not crushed.
