Anne Beegan
Anne was born in Birkenhead, on the Wirral and was educated at Prenton High School for Girls.
Anne has worked for Audit Wales and its predecessor organisations, District Audit and Audit Commission in Wales, since 1999. She is a Performance Audit Manager based in West Wales, with responsibility for a range of health studies. She is also the Performance Audit Manager for Hywel Dda University Health Board.
Before working for Audit Wales, she was Clinical Governance Manager at the Royal Berkshire & Battle Hospitals NHS Trust in Reading.
Anne holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Information Systems from the University of Salford.
She moved to Wales in 1999 when she joined District Audit and spent the first seven years of her auditing career in North Wales before relocating to West Wales in 2006.
Anne is one of two elected employee members of the Board.
Outside of work, she is a parent governor at a local secondary school, is an active volunteer with local sports clubs and is a keen walker. She has two teenage sons and lives in Pembrokeshire.
