As the Executive Director of Audit Modernisation & Impact, you will provide strategic leadership and drive to the delivery of our ambitious five-year strategy at Audit Wales. Alongside the Auditor General and two other Executive Directors, you will spearhead our mission to assure the people of Wales that public money is well managed; to explain how that money is being used to meet their needs; and to inspire and empower the Welsh public sector to improve.
You will bring authority, expertise, and a deep understanding of public audit to this role. Modelling the values and behaviours that underpin our organisation, you will inspire a collaborative culture that drives and delivers audit transformation. You will lead vital areas such as digital transformation, communications, strategic planning, and change management, and hold the ring across Audit Wales to drive change in the light of the evolving landscape of public audit.
You will have a strong track record in public audit and be a visionary leader with exceptional relationship management and communication skills. Proven success in leading multidisciplinary, high performing teams is essential as is the personal style to role model and drive positive change across Audit Wales.
