About the role

 

Audit Wales is looking to recruit a bilingual Business Services Support Officer to join our team working in our Cardiff office. The role is permanent and offered as part time over 26 hours per week.

 

As a Business Services Support Officer, you will play an active role in supporting the business and how we support the public sector in Wales. You will need some experience of booking systems and purchase to pay systems, Welsh language call handling, and supporting administrative projects and programmes.


Core aspects of the role will include providing effective customer focused administration services to the business e.g. travel bookings, restocking supplies, purchasing and courier service, bilingual call handling and visitor receiving service, and meeting room administration. You will also participate in the business services projects and programmes covering a wide range of administrative areas.


What’s it like to work in Business Services?


Business Services is a small team providing wide ranging functional support for the business across Wales. In addition to the above, you will be involved and contribute to a range of the following, as a guide, you will support:

 

  • facilities management – accommodation projects, parking queries, planned preventative maintenance of the estate, reactive support and supplier liaison.

  • health and safety - initiatives including training, supplies, duty of care, etc.

  • carbon reduction and sustainability - environmental management system, performance measurement and reporting, and plan initiatives.

  • procurement support – purchasing e.g. online orders, purchase orders, compliance review, tendering and contract management administration.

  • records management - including archiving and destruction reviews, and other general administrative document and other support.
