Emma Woodcock was born in Mid Wales and educated in John Beddoes School in Powys. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Management Control.
Emma joined Cardiff Council after graduating and qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2005.
After leaving the Council in 2002, she moved to the private sector, working as an Audit Senior in Bentley Jennison, before moving to Wales Audit Office in October 2005. Emma is a Performance Audit Lead within the Wales Audit Office; her role spans all areas of the public sector.
Outside of work, Emma’s world revolves around sport, in particular lawn bowls. She was a member of Team Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
